London Town | Madu, Party of 3
London Town, you were OH, SO SWEET. Your brick paved streets, homes stacked so beautifully side by side, the bold coffee, your proper, intriguing English accents, leaving me in awe and anticipation to return very quickly. I must admit, if God called Robert and I to live out of America, London would be our first pick.
After our 8 day journey, being across the water, on the continent of Europe, we have safely arrived back in the USA. Every time I land in the states, I want to kiss the ground. I enjoy traveling the world. I actually recommend to every single person, if you have the opportunity to see the globe and its differences, you MUST take the opportunity. However, I love my sweet little home, in all of its simplicity and beauty.
I am currently writing you from our home office. It is 9:50 am. I have already had 2 cups of Starbucks, house blend coffee, with a teaspoon of sugar and a splash of coconut creamer. Evie girl is asleep. Robert is on the run to Chickfila to pick up some breakfast. Laundry is going, emails are being sent, currently awaiting the shipment of You Are Life shirts to arrive so I can get those out today, and reality starts all over again. Home from London, now back to every day life.
I had to take a moment to share our 8 days away. There are so many things to be grateful for. One, I am thankful that we get to travel the world together as a family, sharing the gospel. What a privilege and honor it is. All glory to God. Two, I am beyond proud of my husband. He can’t brag, however, I can brag on him. He was given the opportunity to speak at Royal Albert Hall, at The Leadership Conference, which is a massive opportunity. We sat on the front row, in awe, as we looked around the venue, surrounded by leaders all over the world. Popes, bishops, different denominations, different cultures, different gifts and abilities, yet sharing THE ONE thing we all had in common, and that was glorifying Jesus Christ. We were unified, as the body, just how God intended it to be. I was inspired and encouraged to love more than ever. My husband delivered a brilliant message, being the youngest speaker there. God has graced him, and it is an honor to serve him, as his wife and mother to our Everly. Yes, he is a phenomenal speaker, yet his ability to work hard on the road, yet give 100% of himself to Everly and I, is the sweetest gift, and I can’t thank him enough.
We also attended Colour Conference at Wimbley Arena. Hillsong Church never ceases to amaze me. I sat in the presence of the Lord, under extraordinary leadership. Bobbie Houston is extremely inspirational and influential, leading a church that extends across the globe. She carries such grace, and has the kindest soul. What an honor to know you, Bobbie.
I must brag on my friend Dawn Chere Wilkerson. I sat under her teaching, with tears streaming down my face as she painted the picture of holding on to faith with everything inside of you, so beautifully. DC you were on fire. Truly. I can’t wait to see how God is going to continue to use you and bring LIFE to so many around the world.
As we travel around the world, we have the privilege of meeting so many awesome people. I love it. I love people. I love seeing how God uses us all in different ways. I must admit, my favorite, is always watching the behind the scenes people, serving their hearts out for FREE. They are heroes! The conferences would not even be possible if they didn’t serve. Also, our hosts on the road. They take time away from their families to come serve our family, and make life on the road a little easier. It means more than you will ever know. God sees every bit of sacrifice and will honor that. I just know it.
Okay, now enough of the talking…Here are some photos from hi lights of our trip !
Let me introduce you to the one and only Queen E. We had a little down time and enjoyed some high tea at the famous Harrods. Amazing.
London homes… How beautiful.
Evie girl and I had some time together while Daddy attended a few sessions. We had lunch at the cutest little quaint restaurant.
We all went roaming the streets… we walked down Oxford Street and enjoyed its beauty. Mommy had to take all the photos because we didn’t have a shooter. I captured some sweet sweet moments of Daddy and Evie girl. I adore watching them love each other.
No words for this beautiful face.
The joy of traveling the world is finding friends like these. #Eviesbodyguards
Congrats to Brookie and Scotty for baby on the way! We are all so excited!
This day we had the opportunity to meet up with Alpha Magazine in London. They interviewed us, and will be featuring our family, as well as You are Life in their issue coming out in September! We are looking forward to it! Thank you Alpha for allowing us to be a part.

Another morning of Daddy at work. Everly and I found a spot near our hotel that caught our eye. The breakfast hit the spot, so we actually ate here 2 days in a row. Caffe Concerto, yummy.
And then there was High Tea at the Famous Ritz Hotel. It is the number one place in the world for High Tea. We always enjoy playing dress up. This was a favorite. The ambiance, english breakfast in the beautiful fine china, scones covered in delicious clotted cream and jam. Are you kidding me? Heaven in my mouth.
A walk in the park. Hyde Park.
