Mommy Must Haves + DIY Distressing
Okay so you must know, these pants are the most comfortable pants you will ever wear, pregnant or not! I am wearing a size SMALL. I can wear these the full 9 months! The beauty is, they stretch out, however you can wash and dry, as many times as you want. They shrink back to their original size! They are tapered just enough to go with any shoe! Honestly, hands down, my favs! I can’t tell you enough, MAKE THE INVESTMENT! I have had mine for 3 years now, and they are still like new! Real leather pants can cost you hundreds. These look like leather, however, are more comfortable and reasonably priced! Treat yourself Momma. You deserve to feel pleasant!
How cute are these pants? Lets get real, it is very challenging to find decent maternity ANYTHING. I honestly never buy maternity items, with the exception of investing in a few pair of jeans! I don’t want to pay a lot for jeans that I will only wear for a short time. Therefore, I submit to you, I have hit the jackpot! Ladies, these jeans are ONLY roughly $30 ! They are an amazing fit, come in multiple washes. One thing to consider, that I always do, is TAILOR every pant I purchase. Whether they are designer, or Target, I get them tailored to fit my body type. I also added my own personal touch, by DISTRESSING them! Many of you have requested a “How To”… well, EXCITING NEWS : Read each step below, and turn your plain jane denim into trendy fun for FREE!!! Who doesn’t love that word! FREE!!!
- Try on your denim (jeans or jacket). Take chalk or pencil and MARK wherever you want distressing.
- Once you’ve made your marks, take off denim. Every area that you marked,FOLD DENIM, as if you were CREATING A CREASE. CUT INTO FOLD. Take note: if you want a simple line, cut in the knee (as shown in my photo) Cut once, and that is all it takes. However, if you want a shredded look, with fabric showing through, you will need to make multiple cuts, top to bottom, CLOSE together. Cut once, then go right under the first cut, cut again, leaving tiny pieces of denim in between. To create a frayed look at the bottom of your jean, simply cut seam completely off, where you want the bottom of pant to hit.
3. Okay, so now you have made all of your cuts and holes! The hardest part is over! Now simply WASH AND DRY your denim. Once you have dried the item, you will see that it has started to distress. Continue the cycle of washing and drying, until you have reached your goal!
These jeans are great! Considering the flare has made its way back to us in 2015, these are ideal for the preggers! Great wash, great fit, great style, great price!!

Can you believe these are jogging pants? Yes, JOGGING PANTS! To say they are comfortable is an understatement! I can literally sleep in them, lounge around the house, travel comfortably.. every woman’s best friend! Although, they aren’t specifically maternity, the waist band sits right below the belly, and once again, I can wear them pregnant or not! So perfect! Most of the time looking “decent” requires putting on clothes that you don’t feel like putting on. However, with this particular item, you can dress practically in your PJS, throw on a cute tee, a bootie, and you are looking CAW-UTE!
