Dear Sophie, you are our hero.
This particular blog is dedicated to a dear friend, Liz Shepherd #lizzystrong.
Liz was 20 weeks pregnant with Sophie when she found out she had cancer. She was encouraged to abort the baby in order to save her own life. However, her and her husband, Chris, chose LIFE. In the meantime of fighting for their baby girl, Liz had to also fight for herself. She gave birth to Sophie at 28 weeks. Sophie was born at 2 pounds. They both fought…fought with every thing they had to stay alive…
Please take time to watch these videos. They are truly life changing.

The full tribute to Lizzy… MUST SEE!
As you can see, Liz is a true hero. Her courage and strength has impacted the world. I have so much admiration for Lizzy, Chris, and Sophie, and believe that their story is meant to reach the globe. She is an example for all of us… a picture of Jesus… laying down her life to give life.
I pray that today, you are all encouraged by this family’s strength. It was never an easy fight…but the good news is WE WIN. Lizzy is alive and well in the presence of our Savior..and lives are being changed here on earth because of her sacrifice.
