Hello everyone! Hope you all are having a Happy TUESDAY! I am dedicating this blog to my Evie Girl, who puts up with Mommy brushing out her knots on the daily. She is so patient with me, and I am beyond grateful!
Many of you have requested what products I use on Evie’s hair. After doing some research, talking to other Moms with bi-racial children, and actually trying out different products myself, I have found the perfect remedy… or at least for my babies.
Below you will find the products I use, the links to where I purchase them, and the steps I take in order, to master the curls.
Step 2 : After the product has set, I will add a little water and start finger combing the hair. Add water as necessary.
Once I have finger combed throughout the hair, I will then wet hair really well, and begin to comb with the wet brush.
The hair is usually silky smooth.
Step 3 : Towel dry, and apply this leave in conditioner. I actually have 3 different styling products I have used. I love them all, but mixed chicks wins! Its not too heavy, and not too light. I will apply the product, and leave until the curls have dried completely. They will look extremely tight. Once, it is dry, I will pull the curls with my fingers and create a loose, dry, perfect little fro fro!
These are the other 2 styling products that I love as well. They all give a soft defined curl (NOT the crunchy, hard curl)
And there you have it.. the Final look. I am obsessed with these angel eyes. I cannot believe she is growing so fast.. She will be 2 years old in just 4 months! Where has time gone? I love you baby girl!
Have a great day everyone!
